Prince Tribute
A Prince tribute concert has officially been confirmed. The Official Prince Tribute: A Celebration of Life & Music will take place in Prince's home state of Minnesota this upcoming October 13th at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. And the line-up, although missing some people we'd hope might be there, looks pretty great. Performers will include: Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, John Mayer, Tori Kelly, Anita Baker, Doug E. Fresh, Luke James, Bilal, Mint Condition, Morris Day & the Time, Judith Hill and Liv Warfield, the New Power Generation featuring Morris Hayes and members of 3RDEYEGIRL. Although we aren't sure of how much tickets will cost just yet, they will be available for purchase via Ticket Master and the Xcel box office beginning on Monday, September 19th at 10:00am. In a press release, Sharon Nelson, Prince's half sister, said about the tribute show,"The family is extremely excited to provide an opportunity for the world to participate in the tribute for our brother Prince..."
