The NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton has already made history as the single highest grossing music biopic of all-time. But it appears F. Gary Gray & Co. are gunning for a massive victory lap with the film's soon-to-be DVD release. On January 8th, Straight Outta Compton makes the move to DVD, packaged with all of the stan fodder your heart can imagine. The release will come with the unreleased score (composed and conducted by Joseph Trapanese,) soundtrack (no, not that soundtrack) and the uncut version of the film, including scenes that were deleted for the big screen. And who knows? Perhaps we'll finally get to lay our eyes on the Dee Barnes scene that was allegedly removed. For those looking for the inside scoop on the track list, you can hit Amazon to peep. Pre-orders have yet to begin, but you can certainly check back for the appropriate link in the weeks ahead. And if you're one of the few that have held out on seeing the film, get a taste of what's in store for you with the OKP review.
