Style Wars, Tony Silver and Henry Chalfant's classic 1983 graffiti documentary, celebrates its thirtieth anniversary this year. Los Angeles' KCRW will be holding a special screening of the film, which features graf legends like Futura, Seen, Kase2 and more, under the stars at Oscars Outdoors on Sunday, July 28th beginning at 6pm. The free, all-ages event will also feature a conversation with co-director Henry Chalfant live art from Mear One, live t-shirt printing, music from KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez (who has a dope Style Wars influenced mix you can download at KCRW.com), b-boys, food trucks and much more.
Bring your picnic baskets, blankets, lawn chairs, beer and wine, and come out for another great KCRW Summer Nights event!
