SZA Taps Kendrick Lamar For "Babylon"
SZA's keeps the flame coming as she taps label-mate and perennial King Kendrick Lamar for her latest offering "Babylon" off her soon to drop debut EP Z. The dark creeping production opens with a gothic choral line, after which SZA drops in with her airy soprano to croon romantic over this grating heater. After a bit of vocal styling, K dot swoops in with his now patented filtered rasp, dragging the track out of the one-off realm and throwing it onto the bonafide single platform. Watch out for this one folks, cause SZA's star is on the rise and K dot does not come to play. SZA's Z EP drops tonight at midnight on iTunes, so be sure to cop.
