Talib Kweli steps all the way above ground to hop on the remix for Chris Brown's "Fine China" - the track produced by RocStarr and PK for Brown's forthcoming LP X, scheduled to drop sometime this summer. The track is a definite stylistic deviation for Kweli, considering that we last heard him on R.A. The Rugged Man's "Learn Truth", from his latest LP Legends Never Die. Kweli steps into familiar territory with a set of bars prone to the romantic, but it is painfully obvious that Brown is more than a bit polar to what Kweli fans might be used to. Chris Brown has reportedly been working to refine his sound and image with the forthcoming LP - the ideal would undoubtedly be to drift far enough from the bad-boy persona beloved by gossip rags to move into a new chapter of his career. Maybe a collaboration with Kweli is all a part of the master plan for Chris Brown's evolution. No surprise that this smoothed out joint drops ahead of Brown's project and Kweli's forthcoming LP Prisoner Of Conscious. The timing couldn't be better and the end result is a bright dance track that will get both artists a bit of extra attention as summer jams begin to dominate the airwaves. Check the result.
