Talib Kweli & Rapsody Get Graffiti-Gritty In Their New "Every Ghetto" Video

It's been barely a week since Talib Kweli and Rapsody unveiled their new collaboration cut "Every Ghetto" live on The Tonight Show, but when your song is this hot, you've got to keep striking the hip-hop iron. The duo dropped their official visual for the cut Wednesday, taking fans on an immersive trip through graffiti-tagged alleys, beat-up bodegas and street corner scenes.

Flashing images of both Cincinnati, Ohio and New York City inhabit the screen and we're immediately pulled into the thick of it this time around. The Hi-Tek produced tune knocks hard forth and back with a dry bones snare, offering plenty of open space for both MCs to stretch out and teach a little lesson. Kweli stresses that these surroundings are where he himself feels connected. "It's hard reality / Find solidarity / In every ghetto," his first verse goes, stressing the dual danger and resilience that are required on some of a city's most war-torn blocks. From there, Rapsody takes command and spits some of her strongest verses to date. "Every Ghetto" has so much talent firing on all cylinders at all times that it's already creeping up our list for potential Song of the Year honors.

And Do You Want More?? Then check out Roy G. Biv: What A Colourful World, the new compilation record from Kweli that features the talents of Rapsody, NIKO IS, Amani Fela, K Valentine, MK Asante and many more. Watch the new "Every Ghetto" clip below.
