Taylor Bennett ft. Chance The Rapper - "Broad Shoulders"
Chance The Rapper fancies himself a family man. Never mind the title of his current tour or the fact that the 22-year-old is a new father to a darling baby girl. Chano's approach to creating records should speak to this in droves, wrangling the gamut of his hometown artistic community, most recently displayed on the uplifting loosie "Angels" where he and Saba wax poetic over the ills of the contemporary broadcasting standards. Few know, however, that introspective wordplay runs in the bloodline, perhaps best exemplified in brother Taylor Bennett's journey down his own path of rhythm. Yet there have been few, if any, studio connections between the brothers in blood and rhyme. But today, as an all-too-proper throwback, Taylor has relinquished a touching, piano-led collaboration that finds the brothers Bennett getting loose.
