"We Participated In A Lot Of Crimes": Tekashi 69 Testifies Against Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods Crew

UPDATE #5: A transcript of Tekashi 6ix9ine's testimony shows that the former rapper never said that Cardi B was a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. Although he did acknowledge that the "Money" rapper is a member of the Bloods, he didn't claim that she was associated with Nine Trey.
UPDATE #4: Cardi B is disputing that she is a member of the Nine Trey set. However, she claims that she is with the Brims, another blood set.

UPDATE #3: During testimony, 6ix9ine claimed that Cardi B was also a member of the bloods, saying “I knew who she was. I didn’t pay attention.”
Since then, a representative for Cardi from Atlantic Records has denied the allegations that the "Bodak Yellow" artist was a member of Nine Trey. Cardi B has also offered a cryptic response to the allegations by using the popular meme of Keke Palmer not knowing who Dick Cheney is.

UPDATE #2: During the third day of his testimony, Tekashi 6ix9ine reportedly said that Jim Jones is a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
According to reporter Matthew Russell Lee, when asked who Jones was, 69 referred to him as a "retired rapper" and said he is a part of Nine Trey.
UPDATE: Tekashi 6ix9ine's testimony resumed on Wednesday, where the former rapper continued to speak out against his former crew, the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
Among the notable reveals admissions from 69 was him detailing how he "wanted something done about Trippie [Redd]," and how Gangsta Bloods member Shotti then led an attack against Redd at a New York hotel he was staying at after learning of the rapper's location from his manager. (The manager had hoped to end Redd and 69's beef, and gave them the address to a video shoot Redd was doing.)
"We surveillanced it, waiting for Trippie Redd. Shotti said he had a few of the homies meeting up with us there. We stake out, Trippie Redd comes, gets in with 15 people. We follow him for an hour on the highway. I recall Harv coming in 4 door Honda," 69 said according to reporter Matthew Russell Lee.
69 then said that Anthony Ellison — also known as Harv — had punched Redd in the mouth. 69 then recounted another moment where he and other members of the Gangsta Bloods went to confront Redd in Times Square.
Alleged audio from the testimony has also leaked on social media.
The former rapper took the stand on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Tekashi 6ix9ine testified against his former crew, the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, in federal court in Manhattan.

In a report from the New York Times, the former rapper and social media star spoke about his involvement with the gang, saying that "We participated in a lot of crimes. Robberies, assaults, drugs."
Elsewhere, he talked about how his involvement with the Nine Trey gang also contributed to his viral persona.
"That's what people liked," he said. "It was just a formula, a blueprint that I found that worked."
A portion of 69's testimony was also shared by reporter Matthew Russell Lee, who created a Twitter thread detailing what the rapper had said. 69's remarks range from discussing his earlier viral songs like "Kooda" and "Gummo" to claiming that Trippie Redd was a part of a gang called the Five Nine Brims.
Back in November, 69 had cut a deal with federal prosecutors to testify against the crew. In February, he pleaded guilty to charges stemming from his racketeering case, and admitted then in court to being a member of the gang from 2017 to 2018.
The testimony came as two of 69's former confidantes — including Anthony Ellison, who is accused of kidnapping the former Brooklyn artist last year — are on trial.
