Timbaland Discusses His Work On Michael Jackson's 'XSCAPE' + Announces 'Opera Noir' LP

Timbaland took some time recently to sit with the good folks over at REVOLT to discuss his work on Michael Jackson's posthumous record XSCAPE and announce his own new project Opera Noir. As the foremost presence on the King Of Pop's resurrection piece, Tim explains how he channelled the late legend's feel, letting it "talk to us, instead of us talking to it," stamping it as a one-of-a-kind project for an artist he holds a paramount admiration of.

He goes on to describe his new project Opera Noir as his The Chronic, explaining it to be a transformative record for himself personally and his sound. Timbo also expresses that his new artist V and Cee-Lo are the only other features on the record, making it a wholly intimate affair. We haven't been graced with any sonics yet, but ole Tim seems poised to prove he can still chop it up with the best of them. Watch Timbaland discuss his new projects below and keep it locked, as it seems we'll be hearing plenty more from the perennial hit-maker in the months to come.
