Tinashe Reveals 'Aquarius' LP Release Date In Puzzling Album Teaser
Tinashe busts open the doors on her upcoming Aquarius LP with an eery beach-clad set of visuals, ending with the announcement of her album dropping on October 7th. Barren of any new sonics (outside of a gentle piano accompaniment and haunting chorale treatment) the visual follows the soulstress from the tub to the ocean as she delivers an empowering narration. She proclaims her readiness for what's to come before jumping head-first into the water, symbolizing the next step in her career with a literal leap of faith into the abyss.
With so much in the works, it's nice to see the album's well on its way. We've already had a few impressive drops from the youngin' in the Schoolboy Q-assisted "2 On, "Vulnerable" (which enjoyed a heady flip from Sango not too long ago,) and the A$AP Rocky-touched "Pretend" but with anticipated contributions from every corner of the r&b world(tapping Dev Hynes, DJ Mustard and Boi-1da amongst others for the album's production credits) we're getting a hunch that these sounds are gonna need to be heard and soon.
