UPDATE: Tracy Morgan's condition remains on the upswing as he continues his recovery from an accident that critically injured him, 3 other comedians and claimed the life of colleague James Mcnair. It was also recently discovered that the Walmart truck driver that caused the accident was speeding. A statement from his Morgan's camp reads :
“Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks. While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go.”

UPDATE: A spokesperson from Tracy Morgan's camp has said that the irreverent comedian's condition has been upgraded from critical to fair and that his personality seems to be coming back as well. Hide ya kids, hide ya wife, Tracy's on his way back.

UPDATE: Some more details have emerged about the extent of Tracy Morgan's injuries last night. Speaking to CNN Morgan's publicist Lewis Kay said: "He has been more responsive today, which is an incredibly encouraging sign..." Although the report added that:
Morgan suffered several injuries, including broken ribs, a broken nose, a broken leg and a broken femur. He underwent surgery on his leg on Sunday, Kay said, noting any road to recovery would be a long one.
"We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks," Kay said and there has even been one (very unconfirmed) report that doctors are weighing the possibility of amputating Morgan's leg, which suffered the worst injuries.
Meanwhile the driver of the Walmart truck, Kevin Roper, age 35, has turned himself in and Walmart representativies have stated that if it emerges that their truck was the cause of the pile-up, that they will do the right thing by the victims of the accident. Tracy Morgan remains in critical condition after a Walmart tractor-trailer slammed into the van the comedian was traveling in. The 30 Rock star and SNL titan was headed home early Saturday morning when a the 18-wheeler lost control and ran into the van Morgan and fellow comedians Ardie Fuqua and Mr. Mellia, sending all but the vehicle's driver to the emergency room via airlift. Comedian Jimmy "Mack" McNair was also in the vehicle and was apparently pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. A Walmart representative has acknowledged the truck as the company's own and claims that the big-box giant will "do what’s right for the family of the victim and the survivors in the days and weeks ahead.” The driver of the tractor-trailor has been charged with "one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto." While we can't say how Morgan's fairing at the moment, the whole OKP crew is hoping for a speedy recovery from the irreverent comedian and needed peace for the McNair family and anyone who's been touched by this tragedy.
