CJ Fly - "The Error" (Produced by Cookin Soul)

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Pro Era member CJ Fly has dropped a new solo track called "The Error,"  a tribute to fallen homie Capital STEEZ. Produced by Spain's Cookin' Soul, the song is an example of that trans-atlantic true school we love to see flowering (we like to think Foreign Exchange laid the blueprint on this very site) and can be found on CJ Fly's forthcoming debut solo mixtape. Speaking on the track via twitter Fly had this to say:

"My pro Capital STEEZ considered the Progressive Era as a contradiction and since he was my inspiration for this song I decide to make the title have deeper meaning too. We make the ERA, they make the error. So turn your speakers on max and listen carefully. Hope you love it #LONGLIVESTEELO "

Fly's flow is impressive, especially over this piano-based beat. Stream "The Error" below.
