Will Smith Memes His Eventful 2020 Days After August Alsina Shares "Entanglement" Song

The Will Smith meme is a hilariously accurate representation of how this year is going.

Despite 2020 being a very tumultuous year, we're trying to make the best of it in any way we can. Case in point — Will Smith. The entertainer took to Instagram to share the following meme of himself.

The video begins with Smith asking a friend to throw him down a boxed computer as the friend holds the item and stands on a roof. The friend tells Smith that he has got it handled, telling him, "Nah man, get out of here, we’ve got people for this."

The actor then asks the friend again, to which he replies "Okay." Unfortunately, Smith doesn't hear him, and as he turns his back to walk away the friend throws the box down. Before it makes contact with Smith the video stops and is soundtracked by The Tokens' cover of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."

The meme comes after Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have been in headlines following a recent Red Table Talk where the latter said she was in an "entanglement" with August Alsina while she and Smith were separated amicably. Since then, Alsina has released a song titled "Entanglement," which includes the lyrics: "You left your man just to f**k with me and break his heart."

Although the meme came days after the track's release, it's unknown if Smith's meme is a response to Alsina, how blindsiding the year has been or both.
