Willow Smith Explores Cosmic R&B w/ 'Interdimensional Tesseract' 3-Track EP
Willow Smith steps out with another short release, dropping her 3-track exploration of the cosmic r&b realm Interdimensional Tesseract EP on the masses, produced entirely by CHAOTIC. Less an EP, more an album teaser of sorts, her ode to the world's --or other worlds'-- lesser known physical phenomena (whether fictional or simply yet-to-be-discovered,) commences with "Heart," which was previewed last week, boasting the vibe-heavy stuff we've come to expect from the heiress to Bel Air. The followthrough comes with the curt, drum-less and appropriately titled tune "Vibration," which finds young Smith crooning gracefully over snaps, Rhodes and a phased-out texture that'll begin your accent to whatever planet plays home to her quirky, yet sophisticated melancholic r&b. The closer "See U Dance" does as it's title implies with a club-ready blend of drums & bass and the chant of the track's title leading us through. Though it's a short little treat, it doesn't appear that Smith children have been able to grasp the true meaning of the terms mixtape and/or EP, but we'll stick through the growing pains. You can listen to Willow Smith's latest three-track piece Interdimensional Tesseract below, just be sure to keep it locked as we try and keep up with The Smiths.
