Wyatt Cenac's As Sharp As Ever On The New Stand-Up LP 'Furry Dumb Fighter'
Over the past year, Wyatt Cenac has been more vocal and visible than ever. Even without a recurring spot on The Daily Show, the subversive funnyman has solidified his presence on a forthcoming otherworldly comedy, filmed a new comedy special and took his first trip to the Grammys for the nomination of his last special, Brooklyn (which is currently streaming on Netflix.) He didn't come home with the gold, but it seems that hasn't deterred him from continuing to dominate his corner of the comedic realm. Today, Cenac releases his second stand-up album, Furry Dumb Fighter, tackling internet etiquette, the Kardashian complex, police brutality, the inherent rudeness of slavery and plenty more head-on with his patented sharpness and irreverence.
Stream Wyatt Cenac's new album in side-splitting entirety below, take it home with you on iTunes and if you're looking to catch the man live-and-direct, catch him in Brooklyn at Littlefield on February 29th and March 7th or at Bell House on March 1st or 8th. You can also see him discuss his Grammy dance on Conan in the player below. Here's hoping he takes the trip next year as well (though he doesn't seem too convinced that'll be the case.)
