Theravada - "The Deepest Sleep"
Theravada throws a fit of SP-303 wizardry on this gorgeously minimalistic shape-shifter from his new project, Xenophon.
Khruangbin - "Dearest Alfred (Knxwledge Remix)"
Knxwledge puts his patented warp on a stunning loosie from Texan psyche soul outfit, Khruangbin.
Brent Faiyaz featuring Tyler, The Creator and DJ Dahi - "Gravity"
Brent Faiyaz, Tyler, The Creator, and DJ Dahi, cross the streams on their full-float contribution to Adidas Originals and Yours Truly's Songs From Scratch series.
Madlib - "Hang Out (Phone Off)"
Madlib and Four Tet's first collaboration proper, Sound Ancestors, is officially on digital and physical shelves (pre-order your copy on vinyl via The Shop.) And while it's certainly a showcase of the Beat Konducta's range, on "Hang Out" the producer is sitting somewhere between r&b's past, present, and future, building an unshakeable mid-tempo groove with charged guitar licks, a bed of rhodes keys, and all the space in the world.
Alchemist - "Intermission"
Alchemist breaks up the library music madness on his new BORN X RAISED collaboration, Carry The Fire, with a jolt of mid-70s synthesizer soul. Clocking in at just 0:35, it's the perfect amount of time to break off and flip through the project's exclusive line of merch.
Allmos featuring Paul Grant and CARRTOONS - "Amelie Emily Emi"
Alan Cole (one half of The Stuyvesants production duo,) returns to Fresh Selects as Allmos, hosting Paul Grant and CARRTOONS on a smooth-as-can-be loosie for the Portland-based indie.
YUNGMORPHEUS featuring ewonee - "FistfulofGreens"
It doesn't appear YUNGMORPHEUS will be tapering his run anytime soon. Today the LA rapper returns with a batch of bars on a cinematic funk crawl produced by ewonee.
