Heavy week, folks. N.E.R.D. drops their first non-Spongebob single in seven years and Trump's Twitter account goes down not 48 hours later? Hell.Of.A.Week.

Anyways, while Pharrell, Chad and Shay were marquee marvels of the week (though this weekend's ComplexCon reunion could set the tone of discussion well into the new year) you can only hear Rihanna's verse so many times before you realize who's gracing who with their presence. So if you're looking for a little palette cleanser to your "Lemon" binge, there was no shortage of infectious new releases.

Preemo marked the relaunch of a foundational hip-hop label with a new boom-bap treatment, Miguel finally delivered more than a Rae Sremmurd outtake and put a date to his next project, Norvis Junior kept a heat-streak going with his second release of the week, Little Simz proved to be incomparably versatile on two wildly different cuts from Gorillaz and Gabriel Garzón-Montano respectively, while Duckwrth stepped out with a fiercely funky new project, while Kemba, Star Slinger and Tom Misch signaled fruitful futures. Naturally, we've gathered it all for you in this week's installment of The Round-Up.
