Robert Kraft and Meek Mill make an interesting duo

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft visited incarcerated rapper Meek Mill in prison on Wednesday.

Afterward, he gave a press conference where he talked about criminal justice reform. Kraft, who was joined by Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils owner Michael Rubin, told reporters:

“I know some of our players in the NFL have talked about this, and I see firsthand that it’s just wrong...Amazing young man. I know how I’d feel if I was in the situation he is. Every time I see him, I just come away more impressed. He’s very intelligent. And makes it clear to me we have to do something with criminal justice reform.”

Meek Mill has been impriosned since November, after he was sentenced to two to four years for violating his probation. The judge who handed down the decsion, Judge Genece E. Brinkley, has been highly crictized for dishing out such a heavy sentence.
