The Alchemist Is Apparently Down for “Introspective Jazz Album” with Young Thug
The prolific producer responded to a fan request to make the Young Thug collaboration happen.
It seems as if The Alchemist is interested in helping Young Thug figure out his next artistic phase.
Back in November, shortly after it was announced that Thug was released from jail after accepting a plea deal, a post on X went viral that said: “When Young Thug gets into his introspective bag, turns to jazz and makes a collab album with The Alchemist.”
Fast forward to this month and, in response to a post from The Alchemist asking followers, “How we looking?” someone replied, “Introspective jazz album with Young Thug needed.”
Well, turns out the legendary producer saw the response — and apparently is down to make it happen. “Somebody send me his number i got u,” Alc wrote in a subsequent response.

Hopefully, something actually comes of this and the unlikely pair becomes a reality.
Earlier this year, the “Meet the Grahams” producer shared how he wanted to work with Jay-Z.
“Jay always been on my list. I’ve been saying it for 100 years,” Alchemist said while speaking with fellow producer Cardo for a cover story for Lucid Monday. “At this point, I hope it would be a mutual thing, like I would want to work with somebody that would wanna work with me. There’s a couple that’s brewing that’s like bucket list s**t for me that I hope happens. I still have hopes like that.”
