2nd Generation Wu released their latest video on Monday. The track, the remix to the group's single "New Generation," features Method Man. The group burst on the scene back in December with their single "7.O.D."
Stream the video for the "2nd Generation" remix above. The track is available for streaming through Tommy Boy Records, Dock Street Records, and Intellectual Entertainment.
2nd Generation Wu's roster consists of iNTeLL, PXWER, SUN GOD, and Young Dirty Bastard. The members are the sons of U-God, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, and Old Dirty Bastard, respectively.
"The experience so far has left me extremely humble and grateful," PXWER told Okayplayer upon the release of "7.O.D." "The love has been overwhelming. I'm excited for what the future has in store."
Ken Ngwa produced and directed the "2nd Generation" video. The tripped-out video matches the song's eerie vibes: it features the crew decked out in space suits, stomping around the psychedelic shores of a beach in Shaolin.
Edoardo Maragno and Marco Matheus handled editing duties for the video. "After meeting with Ken, we pontificated about where the next frontier of Hip-Hop would be," iNTeLL told Culture Collide. "If it's already permeated every crevice of the earth, the next journey is into the stars."
Stay tuned for further updates about upcoming singles, videos, and potential projects from 2nd Generation Wu.
