Surprisingly, there are no scenes of the artist playing that flute of his.

A teaser trailer for the upcoming AMC series Dispatches From Elsewhere has been released.

The 45-second-long clip features André 3000, Jason Segel, Sally Field, and Eve Lindley as they're brought together as "secret agents" after discovering "a puzzle hiding just behind the veil of everyday life."

Surprisingly, none of the scenes shown featuring André include him playing the flute. The Outkast rapper was seen throughout Philadelphia playing the flute, and would occasionally take pictures with fans that recognized him. Dispatches From Elsewhere was filmed in Philly, where production for the 10-episode series first started several months ago.

Three Stacks recently appeared in the sci-fi film High Life, directed by Claire Denis. The French director previously shared how her want to have 3000 in a movie stemmed from her appreciation of his music.

Previously, it was reported that André was also working on a new album. The report of a new André album first came about when Los Angeles rapper Thurz made an appearance on Real 92.3 LA’s Home Grown Radio show. Thurz was asked by co-host DJ HED if he has ever been caught off guard or was star-struck by an artist that popped up when he was working with Dr. Dre in the studio.

“3 Stacks came up in there,” Thurz said in response, to which DJ HED then asked him if the Outkast rapper is working on any music.

“He got an album,” Thurz said, before clarifying: “He played a lot of ideas that sounded like an album to me so I’m jumping to conclusions.”

However, Big Boi and Sleepy Brown addressed the rumor and clarified that he doesn’t have a new project on the way.

"Lies," Big Boi said, adding, "Dre, he was probably playing some music but he’s not working on a record. He’s been recording songs for years."

Dispatches From Elsewhere will debut some time in 2020.
