In the newest edition of our music videos roundup, we're only highlighting the crème de la crème. First, Ab-Soul reveals a reflective video for "Herbert" off of his recently released album of the same name.
Nicki Minaj joins Ice Spice for the "Princess Diana (Remix)." Metro Boomin, Don Toliver, and Future share a video for "Too Many Nights."
Davido also dropped a video for his new single "Unavailable" featuring Musa Keyes.
Ab-Soul – “Herbert”
Ab-Soul’s “Herbert” is a reflective video that points to the inner struggles he is reckoning with. There are quite a few elements in it that nod to the closing of Kendrick Lamar’s TDE deal. All in all, it’s a stunning video. The track was a cohesive cut that landed on his most recent full-length album.
Metro Boomin, Don Toliver, Future – “Too Many Nights”
“Too Many Nights” by Metro Boomin is a good time, and the clip is too. For most of it, Metro Boomin and Don Toliver are enjoying an energetic night on the town. Future joins towards the end and drops off a verse.
Ice Spice, Nicki Minaj – “Princess Diana (Remix)”
Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj’s linkup became a highly anticipated remix in less than a week. And the two didn’t disappoint, Nicki annihilates the “Princess Diana” beat in their newly release collaborative video. The two have a blast together in a pink-themed video directed by Edgar Estevez. It works!
Ciara, Lola Brooke, Lady London – “Da Girls Mix (Girls Mix)”
Lola Brooke and Lady London join forces with Ciara for a new anthem for women who feel badly about being independent. The three galavant through a posh California mansion for most of the video. This one is a cute, energetic bop.
Davido – “Unavailable Ft. Musa Keyes”
Davido’s “Unavailable” featuring Musa Keyes is an enjoyable single filled with an infectious energy. It’s a chill track with a bit of get-up-and-dance energy, there has to be an album on the way. We’re crossing our fingers.
