Best Music Videos Of The Week: Flo Milli, Lil Baby, Chance the Rapper and More
This week was a superior week for music videos from some of our favorite artists: Chance the Rapper, Lil Baby, Flo Milli, and more.
Week after week we can always count on New Music Friday to serve up an assortment of new tracks. Since we've always got our ears to the ground, we decided in addition to sharing the latest albums we're into, today we're also going to highlight the best videos that dropped this week.
Our latest picks include Lil Baby's "Real As It Gets" featuring Louisville, Kentucky native Est Gee, SZA's otherwordly "Good Days," Chance the Rapper's self-directed "The Heart And The Tongue," BRS Kash's stripper anthem, "Kash App" with Mulatto, Flo Milli's brash "Back Pack (Flora The Explorer)," and more.
Keep scrolling to check out the selects that we had our eye on this week.
SZA - "Good Days"
Alice in Wonderland's trippy universe, shrooms and strippers were on the treatment for SZA's "Good Days" video. Throughout the video, the R&B songstress frolics in a forest with mushrooms, pole dances in a massive library and previews a track we can't wait to hear.
Big Sean - "Deep Reverence Ft. Nipsey Hussle"
Big Sean's introspective single "Deep Reverence" finally gets an official music video. It features appearances by Snoop Dogg, Dom Kennedy and is blessed with a few bars by the late rapper Nipsey Hussle.
Lil Baby - “Real As It Gets Ft. Est Gee”
Lil Baby, arguably one of the biggest acts of 2020 unleashes a visual for his new single “Real As It Gets” featuring Est Gee. No masks are in sight for this guttural video, but that’s fine, if anything the clip proves the Quality Control rapper isn’t stepping his foot off the gas anytime soon.
Chance the Rapper - “The Heart And The Tongue”
Chance the Rapper self-directs his first video for his fresh, lyrically driven track “The Heart And The Tongue.” Filmed at the House of Kicks in Chicago, the camera follows him intensely as the track’s lyrics appear in bold white font throughout (not bad).
BRS Kash - “Kash App Ft. Mulatto”
Continuing his breakout success after releasing “Throat Baby,” Atlanta’s BRS Kash releases his official video for “Kash App” off his latest mixtape. The rapper, singer, songwriter is joined by Mulatto after he makes his way to a house party that’s lowkey out of control.
Flo Milli - “Back Pack (Flora The Explorer)”
Flo Milli flips Dora The Explorer’s theme song and serves up a cutting yet playful freestyle. The visual reimagines the rising star as Dora so she appears with a slick bob paired with a custom Flo Milli chain.
Joyce Wrice - “On One Ft. Freddie Gibbs”
Earlier this week California songbird Joyce Wrice dropped off a video for her newest single “On One.” The upbeat single provides a glimpse into what’s to come from her debut album Overgrown which we hope is filled with summer-ready anthems and ‘90s-inspired love ballads.
Curren$y - "Closing Date"
New Orleans native Curren$y gave his fans another smoker's anthem, "Closing Date" off his EP Collection Agency. Now in his latest video for the single, he shows off his flashy car collection featuring coupes, box frames, and droptops.
