Brockhampton Teams Up With Danny Brown for the Tripped-Out "Buzzcut" Video
Brockhampton has released their first single since 2019's Ginger.
The video for the latest Brockhampton single "Buzzcut" is a tripped-out ride. The crew piles into a car and rides along a shape-shifting road. At one point, the group wrestles with Danny Brown, at another, a crew member vomits a fluorescent orange substance. Stream the new video below.
Frontman Kevin Abstract provided creative direction for the video, while Dan Streit directed and edited.
"This song is so good!" Abstract wrote on YouTube. "The video is like an acid trip and I love it. I hope y'all love the lyric video, I messed with some color shift effects. I'm so hyped for the album."
The new single is Brockhampton's first since their 2019 album Ginger. The album debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 dated September 7, 2019. The project sold 77,000 album-equivalent units in the first week. Their fifth single, "Sugar," hit number 66 on the Billboard Hot 100 seven whole months after the song was released. The song eventually became the group's first platinum record.
Shortly after the Ginger album release, the Texas-based group released two loose tracks that were quickly removed from YouTube. Last March, they released a "Sugar" remix with Dua Lipa.
