Check Out Griselda Records' Kaleidoscopic, Hype Williams-Directed "Dr. Birds" Video
The video is Griselda Records' first visuals from their Shady Records debut album, WWCD.
Griselda Records isn't taking their foot off the gas. Fresh off the success of Westside Gunn's Hitler Wears Hermes 7, the trio dropped the first set of visuals from their joint project WWCD. From the looks of things, it seems Shady Records is sparing no expense for the Buffalo supergroup. The legendary Hype Williams directed the video for their latest offering, "Dr. Birds."

Williams' videography for "Dr. Birds" is like a Griselda verse in itself. The style alternates between colorful paint splashes and black-and-white filters. Shimmering patterns made from digitized firearms swoop in and out of the frame. At one point, Virgil Abloh's Off-White-stamped kilograms of cocaine fall from the sky. The hookless track features Conway, Benny the Butcher, and Westside Gunn doing what they do best. Griselda mainstays Beat Butcha and Daringer joined forces for the beat.
"Dr. Birds" is just the eighth music video Williams has directed in the past three years. Most notably, Williams directed Megan the Stallion and DaBaby's "Cash Shit" video, but the final copy has yet to be released. Additionally, Williams directed a film interpretation of Megan's Fever mixtape. Unfortunately, Williams hasn't released that project either. In 2018, Williams directed two videos for Nicki Minaj--"Bed" featuring Ariana Grande and "Barbie Dreams."
WWCD is available on major streaming platforms. The album features guest appearances from Eminem, 50 Cent, and Raekwon.
