Jonah Hill Directs a Dark and Gory Video For Danny Brown's "Ain't It Funny"
No stranger to twistedly subversive videos, Danny Brown has shared a dark and gory new clip for his latest single "Ain't It Funny," directed by Jonah Hill. The video spoofs impossibly sunny eighties and nineties sitcoms, by pitting Brown's tortured soul against a family that includes Gus Van Sant, Joanna Kerns and "The Fucking Kid" as the fucking kid. Technically the second video for the pulsating cut (as it was used to tease the forthcoming English dub release of Toonami's Dragon Ball Super) Hill's knack for edgy surrealist comedy really comes through and offers a perfect accompaniment. "Ain't It Funny" can be found on Danny Brown's exceptional 2016 release, Atrocity Exhibition, which you can grab on iTunes today.
