BET aired its annual Hip-Hop Awards show on Tuesday, October 8th. The show, which took place at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta and which was hosted by Lil Duval, featured a number of performances from A-listers, including Anderson .Paak, Chance the Rapper, Rick Ross, Megan Thee Stallion, Saweetie, and more.

There was also a cypher portion of the show. This year, there were two: one featuring Kash Doll, IDK, Iman Shumpert, King Los, and Travis Thompson. And a comedic one, featuring freestyles from Lil Duval, Karlous Miller, Chico Bean, Affion Crockett, and Jess Hilarious.

The highlight of the show, however, was Lil Kim, who accepted the "I Am Hip Hop" award from BET. She also did a melody of some of her classic hits, from "Lighters Up" to "Quiet Storm (Remix)." The performance also featured appearances from O.T. Gensis, Musiq Soulchild, and Junior M.A.F.I.A.
