Watch Lil Nas X Inject His Energy Into the 2022 Grammys

Lil Nas X shared a moving rendition of a few of his biggest hits during the 2022 Grammy Awards alongside Jack Harlow.

Lil Nas X had the internet in a chokehold nearly throughout the entire pandemic. So it’s no surprise that he graced the stage for the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.

Alongside a choir outfitted in all-black, he shared "Dead Right Now," "Industry Baby" and "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)." He capitalized off of the Internet moments that he’s become known for (a bunch of screenshots from social media were queued up as a part of his set), but he also put on a show within a show. For his performance, he donned numerous outfits, but most importantly his presence was energetic. He appeared confident as he rapped and shared two of his biggest hits with the crowd.

For the latter half of his performance, Jack Harlow joined him. Harlow shared his verse off of “Industry Baby.” To be honest, the Grammys definitely needed Lil Nas X to inject a bit of his demeanor into the live telecast. Concise dance routines, extravagant background dancers, and the fearless artist made for an enjoyable watch. SZA, Doja Cat, Lena Waithe, and even Cynthia Erivo were spotted giving the rapper a standing ovation.

We’re rooting for Lil Nas X who is nominated for five Grammys: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Music Video for "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" and Best Melodic Rap Performance for "Industry Baby."
