Riding the wave of her debut album, Megan Thee Stallion releases a video from her Good News track “Cry Baby” featuring DaBaby.
You may have heard about DaBaby getting backlash for sharing that he was slated to collaborate with Tory Lanez. We admit that’s a bit off-putting, but it appears Megan and DaBaby are willing to set their differences aside as their energy in the new clip was infectious.
The Colin Tilley-directed visual for “Cry Baby,” begins with Instagram comedian BlameItOnKway, a store clerk narrating a fight between two Barbie dolls. Once he closes up shop, the toys in the store come to life similar to scenes in Toy Story 2. If you thought the toys were going to be normal, you thought wrong. Megan and a bunch of dancers appear in a series of shots partying, twerking, and having a great time during after hours. Tilley’s store is a brilliantly colorful, otherworldly creation, in it, Meg dons Barbie-inspired looks.
Once it dropped, the highly anticipated release Good News debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s 200 chart. Following its arrival, Megan appeared on Ariana Grande’s “34+35 (Remix)” alongside Doja Cat.
