Remaining Beastie Boys members Mike D (Mike Diamond) and Ad-Rock (Andy Horowitz) will be starring in a stage production directed by frequent collaborator Spike Jonze. The production will be called Beastie Boys Story Told By Ad Rock & Mike D.
Little is known about what the production will entail, but it is believed to play off of Diamond and Horowitz' 2018 memoir, Beastie Boys Book, in its autobiographical manner. The show's brief teaser trailer includes music video and concert footage of the group, and concludes with the performance dates. The event info for the performances reads: "Please note that seating for this show will be for a theatrical production, not a rock show."
