Watch Rami Malek Take The Stage As Freddie Mercury In New 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Trailer
November 2 can't come any sooner.
A new trailer for the forthcoming Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody has been released. The latest teaser finds the band creating two of their biggest hits — "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Will Rock You" — as well as the public's interest in Freddie Mercury's (portrayed by Rami Malek) personal life.

The biopic will tell the story of the British rock band from its formation to its worldwide success, culminating with the group's famous set at London's Wembley Arena for the Live Aid 1985 concert. The film will also feature actors Ben Hardy (Roger Taylor), Gwilym Lee (Brian May), and Joseph Mazzello (John Deacon).
News of Malek portraying Mercury first came about two years ago. Initially, Sacha Baron Cohen was playing Mercury and Peter Morning was writing the script. Later, Ben Whishaw was taking the lead role, with Dexter Fletcher as director. Both arrangements fell through due to creative differences.
Back in September of last year, the first images of Malek as Mercury were released via Entertainment Weekly. Accompanying the image was a brief quote from the Mr. Robot star on portraying the legendary rock singer:
"When you’re able to open your eyes and see a different person staring back at you in the mirror…It's a very affirming moment."
Bohemian Rhapsody arrives in theaters on November 2.
