NxWorries (Anderson .Paak & Knxwledge) Perform "Side Piece" Live & Direct in The Stones Throw Dungeon
Way back when Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge were just blips on your radar, the duo, now forever known as NxWorries, teased what was to come with an intimate, stripped-down transmission from the Stones Throw dungeon. They offered us our first glimpse at the lead-off cuts "Suede" and "Link Up." What we didn't see or hear at the time was an early version of what would eventually become the soulful slow-burner "Sidepiece."
Today Stones Throw has released a clip of the duo performing "Sidepiece," still in its infancy, yet coursing with lovelorn lilts from man-of-the-year and virtually-unblemished loop of a dusty soul sample. The video has been treated by frequent Stones Throw collaborator, RUFFMERCY, and arrives with the announcement of a signed vinyl giveaway of NxWorries' Yes Lawd!. All you have to do is sign up for their newsletter, and bong, you're in.
