The past couple of years have been great for Griselda Records, Roc Marciano, and Virgil Abloh. Abloh's Off-White brand has grown exponentially since rebranding from the original PYREX VISION. In the past three years alone, the brand collaborated with heavy hitters like Nike, Jimmy Choo, IKEA, and Barney's New York.
On Wednesday, January 15h, the brand previewed its men's Fall 2020 line at a show in Paris. Artists like Migos, Pop Smoke, Tyga, and J. Balvin reportedly attended.
Alongside them, both literally and in spirit, were underground stalwarts Roc Marciano and the Griselda Records collective.
Marciano and Griselda are no strangers to one another's work. Most recently, on Griselda's "Dr. Birds," both Westside Gunn and Conway name-check Abloh on multiple occasions.
A viral clip from the show surfaced on Wednesday. The video shows Cartier Williams performing a tap routine as Marciano and Westside Gunn's "Perfect Plex" plays in the background. Gunn, who was sitting front row for the event, later detailed the scene on Instagram.
Roc Marci wasn't in the building, but the Long Island MC caught wind of it shortly after. He posted a video to his Facebook page, proud to serve as a "musical backdrop for the opulence on display."
