Shabazz Palaces Sacrifice Half-Goat, Half-Human Baby in "Shine a Light" Video
The duo returns with an eery new video for their standout 2017 single
Cerebral images and cosmic concepts are the hallmark of Shabazz Palaces these days. The Seattle two-piece, currently signed to Sub Pop, began the summer with the release of two new projects Quazarz: Born on a Gangster Star and Quazarz vs the Jealous Machines (one could easily consider them a single double album, though.) That charge commenced with the release of their stellar lead-off, "Shine a Light," and today the track has received a weird and wild video to accompany, featuring a plantation wedding and a half-goat, half-human baby sacrifice.
