The last time TLC released a video was in 2003, when the group released visuals for their single "Damaged," which was off of their 3D album.
That was 14 years ago.
That video drought changed earlier today when T-Boz and Chilli put out visuals for "Way Back," which features a verse from Snoop Dogg.
TLC's Kickstarter-Funded Album Finally Has A Release Date
The song is all about honoring the old school. It features that classic '90s TLC sound and lyrics that honor legendary figures in music like Prince, Marvin Gaye, and Michael Jackson.
So with all those nostalgic-vibes, it's only right that the video has an old school vibe. For the "Way Back" visuals we see the ladies having a good time at a cookout. (Snoop didn't make the cookout; he's sort of just rapping in front of a greenscreen.)
"Way Back" is the first single from the group's big self-titled comeback album. The album, which was funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign, drops on June 30th.
