Late last year, Netflix announced that it had secured a deal with Dave Chappelle that would bring three new specials (his first since 2004's For What It's Worth) to the streaming giant. The announcement arrived on the heels of Chappelle's first-ever stint as host of Saturday Night Live, where he was joined by Chris Rock (who also has a pair of specials coming to Netflix) and A Tribe Called Quest in refocusing our energy in the days immediately following the election.
Today, Netflix has shared an enticing 30-second teaser for the first two of Chappelle's three specials, announcing that they'd premiere on March 21st. In it you can hear the comedian recount his several meetings with OJ Simpson and the implications of Martin Luther King Jr. signing a sneaker deal. It appears the great unicorn of comedy is back and in true form. Watch a teaser clip for two of Dave Chappelle's upcoming Netflix specials below and hold tight for more info on the third in the weeks and months ahead.
