See First Footage of 'Suicide Squad,' 'Mortal Kombat' and More in Warner Bros. 2021 Trailer
Warner Bros. has released its 2021 preview trailer.
Two weeks ago, Netflix dropped an impressive 70-film preview trailer of its full 2021 slate of original releases. On Wednesday, Warner Bros gave HBO Max subscribers--and souls brave enough to step foot in movie theaters--their first look at its lineup. View the full trailer below.
The first film up, dropping on Friday, is The Little Things, starring Denzel Washington and Rami Malek.
More Blockbuster titles include the new Suicide Squad, which hits the platform on August 6. Idris Elba will make his debut in the DC Extended Universe as Bloodsport. Space Jam: A New Legacy starring LeBron James will be streaming on July 16. The long-awaited Dune film starring Timothee Chalamet will be out on October 1.
The Sopranos prequel movie, The Many Saints of Newark, in which James Gandolfini's son Michael will portray a younger version of his father's iconic character Anthony Soprano. Saints won't be out until September 24. If you're looking for some good old-fashioned carnage, Godzilla vs. Kong hits theaters and HBO Max on March 31 while the Mortal Kombat reboot arrives April 16.
Other titles include King Richard, the story of Venus and Serena Williams starring Will Smith as their father Richard. The film premieres on November 19. The Fred Hampton biopic, Judas and the Black Messiah, arrives in two short weeks on February 12.
Though the film doesn't appear in this preview, The Matrix 4 be available to stream on December 22. In the Heights, the film adaption of the 2007 musical by Quiara Alegria Hudes and Lin-Manuel Miranda, premieres on June 18.
