Ocean, upon learning of the tranquility garnered of his music by the veteran actor, saluted Pitt by wearing a t-shirt blasted with a dreamy headshot during one of his very first live shows of the season. And over the weekend, the connection got a little stronger at Ocean's FYF Festival appearance, where Pitt sat upon the stage, phone in hand, as Ocean serenaded with a stripped-down rendition of his Carpenters a la Stevie Wonder cover, "Close To You," pivoting to the Jackson 5's "Never Can Say Goodbye," both delivered with a touch of longing over the phone line.

Outside of celebrity bromances, Ocean's maintained a recently-prolific streak, beginning the year with broadcasts of his blondedRADIO program on Beats 1, which brought a grip of new track and collaborations, including "Chanel," "Lens," "Biking" and "RAF," the latter  of which has yet to be officially released. This weekend he graces the stage at Panorama Festival in NYC, along with Solange, MGMT and Tyler The Creator, whose new album Flower Boy features a pair of assists from Frank.
